Hey friends!

Here’s a quick food post. More of a gluten-free pasta review actually. I’m not usually a fan of ‘buying’ any kind of stuffed pasta. However, when it comes to stuffed shells I have yet to find jumbo gluten-free pasta shells to be able to stuff myself so needless to say that I did indeed miss this dish.

So when I came across these ones from Conte’s I just had to try simply because I really love their cheese/spinach stuffed ravioli and felt that these would not disappoint. Happily, I can say that I was right! They are delicious! Thankfully, they are not stingy on the stuffing (that would be a major thumbs down for me!) and the pasta doesn’t fall or break apart (another biggie when it comes to gluten-free pasta).  Topped topped with a homemade Marinara pasta sauce simply made this as authentic as it could be under the circumstances (by that I mean purchased stuffed pasta).

Conte’s also makes pizza and pierogies but I haven’t had the opportunity to try these yet. Locally I have found these at specialty gluten-free stores as well as select grocers in the frozen-food section.

So if you’ve been tempted to pick up a bag of their pasta you will not be disappointed. They are very good and can only be made better by an amazing homemade sauce and of course topped with parmesan cheese!
