My name is Nuccia and I live in the fabulous city of Montreal!

If you’re new to my blog you’ll notice that I love to talk about beauty and fashion and anything related to women. My diagnosis with celiac disease in 2013 forced me to make important dietary changes which led to a change in lifestyle for me and my family, therefore I eagerly share tips and recipes with you as well information related to celiac disease. In fact, because of the latter, I wrote a book entitled “Going Against the Grain – Italian Style!: A Gluten-Free Life Guide and Recipe Book for Staying Healthy and Eating Amazingly!” and is dedicated to sharing my journey with celiac disease. It also provides tons of delicious, authentical Italian/Sicilian recipes I grew up with but that I needed to modify in order for them to be safe enough for me. I am by no means an expert in the beauty field, in fact, quite the opposite. I’m a simple, no-fuss type of gal who thankfully picked up a few beauty tips in her life. Having said that please keep in mind that any reviews/opinions you read here stem from my PERSONAL experiences and are in no way to be considered professional or medical advice!

My beautiful family, my spiritual activities and my corporate career take up the majority of my time but when I have a few minutes I love to learn new tips n’ tricks when it comes to hair and makeup and love to share my favorite ones with all of you! I have Pinterest boards dedicated to just that! You can follow me there too 🙂
